How long will it take for my Flocknote network to be up and running?
A soft launch can take as little as an hour or two! All it takes is creating one group, adding a few members, and sending out a quick text message or email. How am I supposed to learn a new communication tool on top of all my other duties?
First, Flocknote can be learned in less than an hour, and it's designed to save you time by helping you reach people more effectively. Plus, we have a friendly team of Happiness Engineers who are dedicated to helping parishes in the Diocese of Worcester with this project. They have monthly training webinars (at flocknote.com/webinar), or they would be glad to set up a one-on-one virtual meeting to answer any questions about your new Flocknote network, and demonstrate the features we know you'll love. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use!

How much will this cost?
There is no additional cost to using Flocknote to reach your parishioners! You get unlimited groups and admins, and unlimited emails and text messages. The cost for this initiative is already included in your Communications Ministry fee. There are some optional add-on costs (like extra Text-to-Join keywords) that a parish would need to pay for separately if used, but all mandatory costs are covered through the diocese.

Do I have to install or download anything?
Nope. Flocknote is all web-based. That means no hassle of downloading, installing or updating software. You're always running the latest version and you can securely access it from any internet connection in the world and from any device (desktop, tablet, mobile phone, etc.).

Can I have multiple admins?
Yes! Create as many admins as you need -- both on the group level and at the parish level -- to empower every ministry leader at your parish. Even better, each admin can log in with their own email address or phone number.

How is Flocknote different from other email tools (like Constant Contact or Mailchimp)?
First, it's much simpler and quicker to use than other tools (so it's easy for your entire staff and team to use it, too!). Second, it includes both email AND text messaging (which is super powerful). Third, Flocknote has a host of additional benefits, such as a simple interface, text-to-join for easy registration, direct replies, the ability to capture all your members' replies in one place, polls, RSVPs, and more - while still tracking who is opening your email, addresses that bounce, etc.

Does Flocknote work with our member database (ParishSoft, PDS, etc.)?
Yes. Any contact info you already have in an existing database (or anywhere) can be imported straight into Flocknote (let us know if you need any help with this). Additionally, at any time, you can export all your contact info you have captured in Flocknote. That way you can do what you like with it (like update your own database, store it, open it in excel, etc). Most of our customers find that Flocknote ends up being their most up-to-date and important database of member info.
